Jury Selection
A lawyer conducting jury selection has an hour at the podium, her notes, and a seating chart. It is impossible to take all your notes and talk to a hundred people at the same time. I can help. I certainly always bring at least one other lawyer to assist me in reviewing the and annotating the jury packet, flagging veniremen for certain questions, and recording notable answers for final review when it comes time to make ones strikes.
Typically I also bring Chris(tine) my assistant to create seating charts when one is not provided to make for a more fluid and natural, less frantic and scrambled, voir dire. I bill this service at my usual rate for legal services, unless we get a good brainwave going and have an agreement to provide this service for one another as time goes by, then I suppose this would be compensated in trade.
